Privacy · what we hold

Privacy

The short version: we only hold what you send us, we hold it only to do the thing you asked for, we never sell or share it, and you can have it deleted by asking. The rest of this page is the same thing, said precisely.

What we store, and why

When you use the contact form, we store your name, email, business name if you give one, the topic you picked, and your message. We keep it to read it and to write back.

When you apply through the graduate form, we store the same contact details plus what you told us about your studies and what you’re building, and the estimate the form worked out. We keep it to consider the application and to reply.

When you send a build estimate from the quote calculator or open an account, we store the estimate and the account details so you can track the build and so we can run it.

That is the whole list. We don’t buy data about you, we don’t enrich it, and we don’t build a profile.

No trackers, no third parties

No analytics, no advertising pixels, no social embeds, no fonts loaded from someone else’s server. We don’t use cookies to track you; a signed-in account keeps a session so the page knows it’s you, and that’s all.

Your data is held on our infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, in the UK/EU region). AWS processes it on our behalf and for no other purpose. We do not pass it to any other company.

How long we keep it

An enquiry or application that doesn’t turn into work is kept only as long as it’s useful to the conversation, then deleted. Account and project data lives for as long as you have an account with us; when you leave, you take an export from your account settings and the account is deleted or, if you prefer, kept dormant until you want it back.

The one thing we can’t simply delete is invoices and payment records. UK law requires us to keep those for six years. So if you ask us to delete everything, those go to cold storage, unused, and are destroyed on schedule, and we’ll tell you exactly what stayed and why.

Your rights

You have the right to a copy of what we hold, to have mistakes corrected, and to have it deleted (subject to the six-year rule above). For account holders, Settings has a “Your data” panel that does most of this already: one action and it hands you everything we hold, put together on your own device.

To exercise any of it, email hello@page-flow.co.uk. A person handles it, and we’ll do it within a month. If we ever get this wrong, you can complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Who we are

page-flow is a website studio based in Milton Keynes, UK. We are the data controller for the information described here. Our company registration and ICO register entry are not filled in here yet, and we would rather say that than put a plausible number where a real one belongs. Ask and we will tell you where we have got to. If anything on this page is unclear, or you want to know something it doesn’t cover, just ask us. That’s the whole point of how we work. The terms we work under are on the terms page.
